Former Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann backs his old club to beat Arsenal to the signing of Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a breakthrough last summer, playing a key role in Spain’s Euro 2024 triumph, with Barcelona reportedly keen to sign him at the time but failing to materialise.ทางเข้า UFABET
The Gunners, led by Andrea Berta, have reportedly been in talks with Nico’s agent, who has a €58m release clause, but Hamann believes Arsenal may not be ready to spend a lot of money, which would be an opportunity for the Reds to intervene and bring him in.

“When it comes to Nico Williams, Arsenal might have to spend a lot of money, as we know they don’t have to spend a lot of money,” Hamann told Coincasino. “Arsenal bought Declan Rice, that’s not going to happen again, or they’d have spent a lot of money on another winger.”
“For Liverpool, I think a centre-forward should be the priority, but there’s no doubt that Nico Williams is a great player. He makes things happen, he creates chances to score from nothing.”
“The fact that Liverpool won the league increases the chances of signing him because it’s one of the biggest opportunities – Liverpool have a chance but he’ll have a lot of teams interested, for sure.”
