Bruno Fernandes has urged Sporting Lisbon boss Ruben Amorim to take charge of a top club.

The 39-year-old has been in charge of Sporting since 2020 and has led the team to end their 20-year wait for a league title, winning two league titles in the 2020/21 and 2023/24 seasons.

“For Amorim, it shows that he is ready at the moment. It is not easy to manage Sporting and win the league. Sporting has not won the league for 20 years and Amorim has come in and won it twice. That shows a great job.
“If he can do that in England, Spain or anywhere else, you never know until you see it, but I’m sure his quality will prove itself to everyone.”
